From May 10 to June 10, 35 teams of Sodexo Canada employees with a total of 202 participants were competing in the Stop Hunger Challenge. Participants had to complete a series of sports and general knowledge challenges on the Squadeasy application and collect as many points as possible. Participants also had to network and raise money using our national partner Breakfast Club of Canada's online fundraising platform to significantly increase the number of points they earned.

The incredible energy and competitive team spirit of Sodexo employees made this event a success: a total of $34,588 was raised by all teams for children across Canada against an initial goal of $25,000. Stop Hunger has committed to rounding up that amount and donating a total of $35,000 to provide 11,666 breakfasts to children across the country.

In addition, participants were also challenged to walk 50,000 KM in one month. This challenge was also met with success, as our athletes covered a total of 52,558 KM.

Congratulations again to all participants for your active participation and thank you for making the Stop Hunger Challenge a real success. This event was a great opportunity to connect, to take care of us and, most importantly, to make a difference for the children!
