Last December, Bishop's University Food Services employees took a great step to help families in need in the community of Cornerstone .

Bishops Servathon Image.pngFor the Bishop Dining Services Team, one of the most anticipated events every year at Bishop’s University is the Sodexo Stop Hunger Servathon. Every year they hold a canned/non-perishable food drive, and every year they are extremely proud of the results. This year the food drive yielded less than usual, due to the covid-19 pandemic, but they knew they could still find some way to make it a smashing success.

As a result, the employees decided to donate the funds usually planned for their annual Christmas party to help those in need. Thanks to their generosity, the Sodexo 2020 Servathon was a resounding success! More than $750 in food was purchased for the local Cornerstone Food Bank to help alleviate the hunger of families in need over the Christmas holiday season. “We would like to extend our gratefulness for the large donation of food that you have sent our way. Your fine donation has been a great help in feefing the needy of our community” - The Cornerstone Food Bank
