Every April, Sodexo employees around the world join forces to volunteer to alleviate hunger. We call this global initiative Servathon. We serve meals, collect non-perishable food, host hot dog days, bake sales and a variety of other activities. This year’s biggest events were hosted by our general managers Kathy Jocelyn, Derek Parker and Gaetan Vivier. They helped make this year’s Servathon incredible.
Picture: Team Sodexo at Investors Group, Winnipeg, won for most volunteer hours (36 hours in total). They served a full meal to 150 at-risk youth at Marymound in Winnipeg.
Picture: Team Sodexo at Acadia Physical Plant won for fundraising. They raised $1,500 from Hot Dog Day's, Casual Friday's 50/50 draws and Employee Fun Day that were donated to a local food bank.
