It's back to school season! To kick off the school year in style, our Gina Gentleman Scholarship recipients met with the charities to which they decided to donate their gift of $1000.

Once again, this year, 2 recipients have been selected and will receive a $2,500 scholarship in recognition of their volunteer involvement as well as $1,000 to donate to a food security NGO of their choice.

Discover the results of the Stop Hunger Challenge, an athletic competition that brought together more than 200 Sodexo Canada employees that took place between May 16 and June 10, 2022.

With less than a month to go before the deadline to apply for the Gina Gentleman Scholarship, which recognizes the volunteer efforts of Sodexo employees or their immediate family members, Stop Hunger wanted to discuss his experience with Luca Parnas-Zver, a former recipient of the scholarship who was generous enough to share his story with us.

From May 16 to June 9, 2022, the second edition of the SH Challenge will be held.

The Heroes of Everyday Life Award recognizes Sodexo employees who are helping to reduce hunger in their communities. Since 2018, the Stop Hunger Foundation team has been proud to enable the recipients of this award to continue making a difference in their communities.

Since March 8, all Sodexo countries have been mobilizing to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine. To enable us to have a greater impact in supporting displaced populations and people in need in countries bordering Ukraine, this global initiative is now open to our external network.

March is Nutrition Month, an opportunity to remind us of the importance of healthy eating habits. Since 2020, Sodexo and the Stop Hunger Foundation have joined forces with Breakfast Club of Canada to ensure that children across the country have access to healthy, nutritious food to give them all the energy they need to learn.
