We are proud to announce that the Sodexo Canada Stop Hunger Foundation has donated $100,000 to Tea Creek, an Indigenous-led initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity and revitalizing local economies.
Tea Creek’s innovative programs provide hands-on training in food production, agriculture, and land-based skills, empowering Indigenous communities with sustainable solutions to food sovereignty. As a long-standing partner, we have seen firsthand the incredible impact of their work, and this donation will further support their mission to create lasting change.
“Sodexo Canada has been a steadfast partner in our journey, and this donation is truly transformational,” said Jacob Beaton. “With this support, we can expand our programs, reach more people, and strengthen our ability to provide Indigenous-led solutions to food security.”
Last week, Sodexo Canada's Senior Vice President, Energy and Resources, Stéphane Champagne had the opportunity to visit Tea Creek, connecting with the team and witnessing the incredible impact of their work. This partnership is a testament to our shared vision: a future where no one has to face hunger, and communities have the tools to build long-term sustainability.
Through the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation, we remain committed to supporting grassroots organizations that align with our purpose—fighting hunger and fostering economic empowerment in the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to everyone who supports the Stop Hunger Foundation and helps make these initiatives possible. Together, we are making a real difference.
