Sodexo Canada Stop Hunger Foundation Fundraising and Volunteering Event Day is an annual fundraising event that brings together Sodexo Canada's employees, partners and clients around an important cause: the fight against hunger.
The 2024 Sodexo Canada Stop Hunger Foundation Fundraising and Volunteering Event Day
This year, over 140 volunteers, including Sodexo employees, business and community partners, got together at Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton to packed 500 food hampers for families in the Hamilton-Halton region. More than $315,000 was raised in funds, food, and in-kind donations, and with the support of partners like Second Harvest and Good Shepherd this event made a real impact in the community.
The event also included a thank-you dinner for volunteers, featuring a special entrée crafted by Sodexo Live! chefs, highlighting local produce and regional food and beverage suppliers.
